I remember one of my dear friend who used to say, “if in the course of a day you smile and are able to make a child, a person, smile, you would have done a good thing. You would have given their life a meaning”. Now you know why HCWA tries to “give back smile to handicap, underprivileged children & women”.

Women are highly underrepresented in positions of leadership and authority. Historically, there exists a prejudice in many societies against women and their governing capacity, as a result of which many powerful positions are male-dominated. In my position as the President of HCWA, I consistently work hard to facilitate the leadership potential of women and plan on orchestrating innovative programming and providing Job opportunities to raise the profile of economically insecure women and assist them to find role models and mentors as sources of inspiration.

Our Team works hard every day to ensure that the children & women in our care and in the poorest of the poor communities in India will all receive medical, social, psychological, educational, spiritual and recreational services of the highest quality and above all of that, they receive love. We are indebted to our donors, sponsors and volunteers who make our work possible as we at HCWA continue to face new challenges.
